when using a thumb trigger release were is the proper place place to position it in you hand ? or is there a proper place ? seems most people i watch have it between the 1st and 2nd bend on there fingers but seen some shooting it near the end of fingers and some very deep on the hand .

I recomend the second or nuckle joint crease.
Here's an important thing,once at full draw get the boney part of you thumb on the barrel ,and let those fingers relax and stretch out.
You now have a pre load.
Imerse into aiming and execute the shot by either continueing pulling or pull with you fingers (not the thumb)and let the release rotate into your thumb.
