Hello,

To adjust the draw on my 2001 ProTec LX, CC #2, I have to release one screw and move the position of another one.

It just happens that the position of the screw to be released is exactly under the riser - a real pain.

Is this normal?

Thanks,

Jorge:
All of my Cam1/2's have the screw just outboard of the limbs, but they're all XT2000 and Xt3000 limbs.

Get a padded screwdriver or awl that will fit through one of the holes in the cam... then pull or draw the string (whichever will work) until you can stick the object through the hole and reach the screw.... I use this method to add/subtract twist from my string/cables at the range when I'm tinkering with my draw length... :D

Adjusting draw

Jorge, I think that you better check your A t A because that screw should be adjustable with out moving the string or relaxing your bow. It should be a very simple operation to adjust draw lenth...

On the longer limb bows the cams are so small in diam that most of the cam is under the limb... just a fact of life....

Adjustment srews

I have the same problem. I asked a tech and he said , just wrap your hand around the limb where you would usually have a limb saver and squeeze the cable toward the limb. The cam will rotate enough to loose or tighten the screw

Thanks for the tip, Javi
