Heck, your at 300 FPS with a hunting bow .... what more do you need ?? :tongue: ..... Going with a lighter arrow will let you pick up a few FPS, but at risk of loosing penetration...... Best way would be a heavier poundage, if you can handle it .....

Trading it in on an M7 will get you more speed.

 

For bow hunting 300fps is fantastic...for target shooting, you can always go with a 300gr arrow, which would give you more speed.

A Turbow could be used...don't know if 20fps or so is worth the money though.

 

The bow is rated at 316 or so. Are you getting this speed with your hunting arrow?

 

what draw length and arrow are you shooting? getting 300 at 60 pounds you must be shooting close to a 330 gr arrow and 30" dl on that thing...

 

:bs: im shooting same bow 72lbs with bucknastystrings 372 grain total arrow weight and i dont get 300 fps with a 29 in draw,had to pull the bs card on your first post sorry dude

 

Well Ill have to get my buddy to drag out the chrono again. I dont want to be known as the BS'r after one post. Arrrow are 300 grn carbon force with 100 and 125 grn rage practice tips with 30" draw arrows weigh 380 and 411 grns respectively.

 

i shoot the standard bow madness and with a 29" draw at 66lbs and my hunting arrows are 371grains, Just shot them thru the chrono friday night at 299-301fps
My target arrows are 330grain and i get 314fps from them.
So if i were you i'd be extremely happy with your preformance at 60lbs!

 

Man if you are getting 300fps, out of a bow with an IBO of 308-316, not sure you can get much more out of it, if you are really getting 300fps out of it I'd say you are siting pretty right now!!!!!!:wink:

 

that ibo is for 70lbs,sorry dude not trying to put you in a category but with those weights 380-410 with 60lbs the xs wont do it,mine xs 72lbs arrows 372 fps 288-291:wink:didnt mean to hurt your feelings by calling ya on that one i was just going by my experience with these bows

 

I just got a Bow madness XS last week with the stock string (with a peep tube), and string silencers, 29" draw, 68.5 lb draw weight, and a 420 grain arrow. With this setup i was only chronoed at 260 fps. But, i'm happy with it.

 

How were the wallacebrookarchery strings?

 

Great but don't have the bow anymore. Stepped up to axe 6. To all that called my bs. It was chrono'd by my local shop with "ibo" arrows. Sorry
