Curious as to why PSE advertises an IBO speed range of 332-324 on the Bow Madness XL.

Is it because the let-off is adjustable from 80% to 65%?

Would that be 332 fps @ 65% and 324 fps @ 80%?

Yep, you answered your own question. Depends on the let-off.

So, is the factory draw length measured at 65 or 80% ? I will have to do some measuring when i get home. I figure it is measured at 80% and moving the draw stop to 65 will reduce the draw from 29 to 28 1/2 and if i want 65% and 29" draw i would have to move the string to the (+) post and tweek my string and cable twists. The op"s theory would only be correct if pse did more than just move the letoff stop. They would have to adjust the bow to 65 and 80% at the same draw length. Anybody follow me? Buy the way good question, I bet a call would shed some light.

the range has nothing to do with let off, it is there because of friction, spring rates of limbs and string variances...it is saying that you can expect your bow to peform within X-X FPS at IBO settings.....bows are rated at the higher letoff setting
