OK guys and gals, I just acquired a PSE Durango, has a great target colored riser and I plan on setting it up for indoor spots this winter. Here are my questions, first, does anyone know where I can find 50 or 60# limbs for this older model bow, and secondly I am curious about the draw length. It is a solo cam model and had a "R6" mod in it currently. Does anyone have any ideas on limbs, or details about the mod it has. I need it set at 29" draw length to fit me, it is curently in pcs. downstairs waiting for new limbs to order a string set and get the rest set up.

I know it has different draw stop locations but there is a removable mod that is a #6 i think it is 28"
' but not positive so think i will have to find a number 7 mod and the limbs! lol

The Durango came with a number of different cams. If the cam looks like the one a Mathews C4, it might be a Lightening Cam 1 or Lightening Cam 2.

If the limb style is the 933, I might have some in 50 or 60. Or if you know the deflection # (engraved on the underside of the limb near the limb bolt) you need, I might have a few pairs in either camo or silver/grey.

Thanks for the replies. I will be contacting PSE shortly to inquire about the limbs. If I am correct I believe they are 813 Straights for the limbs. Will have to give serial number to PSE and see what info they can give. If no luck with them do you know if Barnsdale would make something that may work?

Well, spoke to PSE, and as expected they do not have the limbs and/or mods anymore. Now my search begins, I am in need of part # 813E2 limbs (60#) and also part # 95667C (#7 mod). If there are any PSE shops out there that may have these lying around I would definitely be interested. The deflection numbers on the bottom limb are 115. To get started I just need that bottom limb, however would be interested in getting a couple pairs if I can find them. Left a message for Barnsdale, but really don't know any other limb makers, so if you know of them as well that would be super helpful.

No idea where you could find parts at other than just getting lucky or maybe buying a complete bow....PSE did a few different cams on those bows, they had the Lightning cams which were adjustable and the Bull Whip cams which were draw specific "and the Bull Whip had the large idler wheel like a Mathews"...Those were great shooting bows, I hunted with one for years and it shot great.

The limb types I have in abundance are the 3633, 3933..for the LD280, Mach5, LD2000, or LD2200 style limb pockets. Looks like the Durango used a different limb/pocket arraignment? Barnsdale could very well make what you need.

If you can't find the cam modules you need, you might consider the FrankenBow Route. You could probably use Mathews cams and idlers that might be easier to find in the classified..

Look how similar the Durango with bullwhip cam is to the DrenalinLD..

..or with the lightning cam how similar to the Mathews C4..

I know it would be sacrilege to put Mathews parts on a PSE, but might be an option if you can't find the official PSE cams.

Or maybe just hang that thing on a wall or in a closet. With the cheap prices for quality target bows these days it doesn't make sense to try to revive this bow. Unless of course it has some deep sentimental emotions added to it.

Last thing I'm going to say about your looking. IMHO it will not be worth your effort to fix it. It's going to cost you way more money than what the bow is even worth.
You would be farther ahead to take a serious look at the new PSE Phenom for a target bow. In the long run you will be saving yourself a big headache and probably some money.
