Looking for opinions on the Evolve 35. I know opinions are like azzholes and everyone's got one but I'm curious....lol I likely won't be able to handle one before I purchase so I figure maybe y'all could give me a good idea of what to expect.

Ive got a Revolt X that is incredible and almost everything I want in a bow but I would like something a little longer ata and the evolve 35 fits the bill. Just curious how the draw cycle("ease" and smoothness), balance, shootability, etc is with it? And maybe a comparison to the Rev X if anyone has shot both bows. TIA

I'm still shooting my 2017 Evolve 35. The draw cycle is one of the smoothest I have felt with the High Letoff modules that came installed on it. I'd say it's a little smoother than my Reckoning 35. The grip is a little blocky, if you have small hands. It's a center-pull (i.e. berger hole is dead-center between the axles; so there's more mass above the grip than below) so it's top-heavy and I run it with a front and side bar.

I put a set of Fast Low Letoff modules on it (which is what I think the S2 cams basically are now, IIRC) and it looses a 400gn arrow at 310fps @ 28.5" with 62# draw weight. The modules make the draw cycle more aggressive, but it's still smooth and your body gets used to it.

Jump to Evoke over the evolve. I refuse to change out to a new bow as this bow is butter. I did a few pretty cheap upgrades to it that made a WORLD of difference. In my opinion the only bow that is a better 3d/Hunting hybrid ever made would be the Mathews Halon X. Sometimes these PSE are a bit of a booger occasionally.

I bought a lightly used '19 Evoke 35SE in the winter of 2020, as I kept reading great things about the Evolve cam system..... and the bow was in my "profile" range. This was my first bow with rotating mods and hi/low leftoff mods, so I downloaded the online version of the manual and figured it out. It came with really good aftermarket strings, so I just set it up for me and shot. I liked a lot about the bow, but we didn't "click". It was one of those really good day followed by really blah day bows for me......which puzzled me as I shot my previous OB Phoenix XL very consistently. After spring turkey season, I decided the Evoke was not it, so I relisted it and moved on. There was nothing wrong with the particular bow or design, as a lot of fit is personal. I know folks who have owned the bow I currently shoot and were so-so about it, while it is an excellent fit for me. If you are getting it for a good price, it might turn out to be a great investment?

Evolve 35 is an awesome bow...its the bow/cam that started it all for PSE in the past 6-7 years.

Its a very good bow. They have made some improvements to it since. But if I could only have an Evolve 35 for the rest of my life I would be a happy camper. The only negative for some is they use those little shims for tuning. I still think the Evolve cam system is the best going and is still offered on PSE's new bows. That should tell you all you need to know.

I still have my Evolve 31 and its a really good shooting bow. Once I got it tuned it has been lights out! I've changed strings a couple of times and it was really easy to get back to shooting dead on in a matter of minutes and stayed that way for a couple of years until I changed strings again. With everything returned to spec, it was spot on and has been that way for nearly three years. I bought a Bowtech Solution for this year and it was super simple to set up. The Evolve is a bit easier drawing, but not by much. It has become my rainy day, foul weather hunting bow and it has proven worthy again this year. The Evolve was and is still a great shooter and has never given me a problem.

I was a trade bow every year guy and I bought an Evolve 31 for hunting brand new 2017 model and then bought an Evolve 35 2018 model for target mainly 3D. I love both and kept them 4-5 years which is a record for me. Still have no plans to change.

The cams on the Evolves are pretty much the same from 2017 to mostly current PSE flagship bows. I can't think of any glaring differences and if they are they're minor. The major thing I can think of is when they moved on from the Evolve in 19 or 20 the major difference was the grip. The Evo 31 & 35 have a slightly wider, squarer grip and a lot of people didn't like it. I loved it and why I've kept the same bows all this time.

You could probably pull any higher end PSE within the last five years and get a feel for the draw cycle it would just be a matter of which grip you preferred. I got the impression I was in the minority of liking the original Evolve grip, but I never changed out the stock seats on any of my Harleys. They felt great to me. I was definitely in the minority there. I had a guy tell me once, "So YOU'RE THAT GUY the Harley seat is designed for." LOL!

I'm in the Nashville, TN area if you're close.

What do you think about the PSE Omen compared to the Evoke 35? I have the Evoke 35 with 60-70 pound limbs. With my Evoke 35 on 68 pounds of draw weight, I get about 2 fps difference then the Omen on 59 pounds. So 59 pounds of draw weight verse 68 pounds of draw weight and about 2 or 3 fps difference.

There is nothing wrong with my Evoke 35. I just prefer to pull 60 pounds of draw weight instead of 68 pounds of draw weight.
I am considering selling the Evoke 35 and buying an Omen with 60 pound limbs.

Let me hear your thoughts on this. Thanks Mr. Ken
