PSE Mach X ?

We took the factory string off a Mach X and put a after market string on and last 10-12 fps.. Everything is in spec. and it shoots and feels as good or better then before, but why the speed loss? We went from 277-278 down to 266-267 at 71 lbs., 405 grain arrow at 28 3/4" draw.

did you serve the string over the top idler wheel? That is usually about 10 fps. What material did you use? Some material is slower than others.

He ordered the string from Vapor Trail so its their blend, I know the factory PSE string for that year is 8125. They did serve the idler also, that and the string material is probably the cause.
