hey this is my 1st time posting here. I just got a PSE Surge and the draw length is set at 29" i thought i would be good since when i went into a shop to have my draw weight and lenght measured they told me 60 pound draw weight and 29" draw lenght. After going shooting a few times with some friends they told em that it looked like i might benefit from lowering the draw length down by about an inch. i have looked everywhere online and cant find how to do it. The manual that it comes with says that it is possible to adjust the draw lenght with out putting the bow in a press but it doesnt say how to go about doing this. If any one here is familiar with the prosses and I would be really gratefull. If you could post some pics with the directions that would be great too.

You need a t-15 torx bit driver and then loosen the module, move it to the slot you want it and then tighten it back down. Then move the draw stop to the same slot.

You can down load the PSE Surge Users Guide from their website, it gives you all the info
for this bow and how to set the cam..... worth the download if you do not have it, also if you
got the bow new it should have come with the t-15 wrench and guide simple to follow and understand

You don't need a bow press. Loosen the screws indicated by the red arrows, don't remove them completely. Rotate the cam module until the metal pin (indicated by red circle) inserts into the desired letter designation (D-E) and re-tighten the screws. If your bow is currently set at 29", you should be in the "C" cam setting. To shorten by a half inch, move to letter "D"... to shorten an inch, move to "E" setting. You also have to completely remove the screw indicated with the yellow circle to match the letter of the module setting. (All modules and draw stops should match, ie all in "D" or all in "E").

Occasionally, there are situations where the cam module screws are underneath/behind the limb and you can't access them to loosen or tighten. Simply make a c-clamp with your hand and pull the bus cable (the cable closest to the riser) towards the riser. This makes the cam rotate enough to access the screws.
