I'm wondering were some of the better Central California (and coast) locations for pig hunting on public land, preferably in SLO County. I'm already well aware of FHL (Fort Hunter Liggett) and definitely have it on my list. With today's economy I'm not sure I can squeeze $$ for hunting private such as Tejon Ranch. I don't expect anyone to give me their honey hunting hole. Any help would be appreciated though. I'm game for anyone looking for a hunting partner in the area.

This isn't really a public land hunt but for an outfitted (transportation, lodging, guide, field dressing, etc) Bert Claassen provides what I consider great service at a real bargain price. I have hunted with him for several years with great success.
