Hey putting this out there I have recently had problems with my Specialty Archery Pro Press that needs addressed. I have owned my press for approximately 5 years without a problem until recently. While pressing my PSE Mach 34 it slipped out of the fingers while removing strings. It has happened three times and I have not attempted to try to make it a warranty item with PSE any of those times and have not blamed it on my proshop....I have paid out of pocket every time thinking I was doing something wrong at first. I wasn't only until this last time that I contacted
Specialty Archery and was told no one was available they were working on a big project and would call me back. I was told by the female answering the phone that I would need to buy the wide limb adapters. I called back the next day and no one answered during regular work hours. I then sent a message through their internal messaging system in which they still have not replied. Finally I did get a call back from a male company representative. I asked why they have wide limb adapters now is there a known issue. He said no and went as far as to say I am the only one that ownes a Pro Press that has had an issue with a bow slipping of the fingers. I asked then why would you create wide limb adapters if the regular fingers can handle the wide limbs. He replied something like just incase someone needs them. So I am thinking you put all this money into a research and development, engineering for something no one needs? I did call him out on it. Regardless there is an issue with Speciality Archery and wide limb bows. Tho se limbs store a massive amount of energy in them and they hurt someone. I walk away with minor injuries and I have asked for nothing and am not trying to sue anyone. Speciality Archery keep the safety of the people who chose to invest in your company in mind and do the right thing and notify pro press owners. I is truly sad when an when a company does not support those that support them.
P.S. Specialty Archery I can verify any part of this story.
