That will work or you can use any laquer based sealer on it.I use minwax sand and seal.You can buy it in spray cans.You need several coats untill the pores are filled then sand lightly and you are ready for finish.Superglue works well on small stuff but regular sealer is much easier on bigger stuff.jmo
