I contemplated getting this rest for a little while after researching them a little on this site. I broke down and got one and I have got to tell you, I am thoroughly impressed with it. It does EVERYTHING I can imagine wanting a drop away to do. Fully captures the arrow, allows for let down and maintains the captured arrow, easy install, TOTAL fletching clearance, locks down launcher for no bounce back, and is quiet. I know there may have been a few issues with earlier models, but I am confident many of the problems you will read about with these rests are strictly due to incompetence of the person setting it up. I just thought I would share my evaluation of a great product, anyone riding the fence on picking one of these up wont be disappointed.:)

I have the original model and love it. I'm convinced the vast majority of problems people had previously was because they either didn't understand how to time it, or didn't take the time to do it properly.

I'm having trouble with my LD

I've had a regular Proseries for about a year, and it has always worked flawlessly. I just got a LD and I'm having a lot of trouble with the fletching hitting the rest. My bowsmith and I worked on it forever. I've put several of these types of rest on other bows and I've never seen one do this before. Any suggestions.

If you bought it from your "bowsmith", I would try another one, if hes got it in stock. Mine came with the 1/8" taller launcher, I put it on immediately, never tried the shorter one. Are you using the taller one? It shouldn't be that hard to set up, I would suggest you call QAD.
