I purchased a new G5 Quest Torrent this spring.
When I nock an arrow, the fletching just touches and I mean just ever so slightly, but you can tell there is miniscule contact. When I fire the bow, I do not see any obvious sign that the fletching actually does hit the cable when fired. I would assume that damage to the cable would soon become obvious if it hit after a while, but there is no visual indication it actually does hit the cable. No marks, or damage. So in your opinion is this anything to worry about or not? I was told the I-glide will flex back some when fired creating a bit of clearance, is this true? Of course I can turn the nock slightly and guarantee no issue. I'm fairly new to this sport, and was wondering if this is something that happens, or is there a problem?

Is there a standard or guide on how close or not the fletching is supposed to come to the cable?

I an going to have it looked at on Sunday to see if it's a problem or not. but turning the nock sure seems to be an easy solution.
