I bought a bow on ebay that was advertised as a "Special Edition" AlphaMax 32. It has "Dealer Only Decals" on the limbs. Does this designation make the bow worth more than any other AlphaMax? I would post a picture but my post count is too low. Maybe later.

Sounds like you bought a DEMO bow not a Special Edition Hoyt bow!

Yep its probably the dealer demo. Our local dealer tried to sell his at a special premium why would I spend more on a demo bow that's in reality used?:darkbeer:

Yep, you're the proud owner of a demo bow. I have picked up two at very good prices.

They are not worth more than other bows of the same year and model. Usually, they are worth a bit less, as some, if not most guys, will wonder what it's been through.

Hopefully you didn't pay a premium price.

Seller was misleading a bit but, if its in real good shape that isnt a bad price.

The local Mathews dealer sells the dealer demo bows pretty cheap at the end of the year usually............

Nothing wrong with a demo, it will shoot just as good, but you should have someone at a pro shop look it over, make sure it hasnt been dryfired.
