Does anybody know if you can shoot a bow out of a climbing stand sitting down? I know some have a front bar that lowers but it looks like the side may get in the way. Have always shot sitting down while in stand and am wondering if it can be done with a climber. Thanks Brian.

If you sit upright and try to shoot by lowering your bow arm you will likely have clearance problems shooting from the sittin position. If you maintain your "on ground" shot alignment but drawing level and bending from the waist instread of dropping bow arm to aim, you will have the necessary clearance.

In my Summit Razor (bar folded under the seat) with the seat adjusted as high as possible in the top frame, I can shoot anywhere from 120 degrees left of straight ahead to 15 degress right of straight ahead while sitting (7 yards and beyond to the target). Anywhere outside this range, I'm standing. I keep this in mind when I set my stand position up, but have no problem standing to shoot when necessary.

Best Regards,
Byron :)
