I have an old Fred Bear Grizzly bow.
It is serial # 7614, and is a 44# draw.
Has the "Pat. applied for" sticker is still
attached.
Any Idea how old this bow is?
What it might be worth?
Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks Jack,
I guess that means this one is around 1952-1953
I wonder if it's safe to shoot still? The laquer is a little checked.

If there are no separations in the laminations or longitudinal cracks in the limbs, it probably is. I'd start by just pulling the bow back 1/4 of the way a couple of times; then 1/2 way a couple of times, and then 3/4 way a couple, before I come to full draw. Only use a dacron string on the bow and only shoot heavy arrows (10gr/lb of draw weight or more).
