I'm guessing you still shoot with a clarifier on the higher power true spot lenses? How does it distort the unpowered section of the lens or does it at all?

I shoot an 8x True Spot with an #3 clarifier. The unmaginfied field of vision doesn't become blurry, but rather uninteresting compared to the magnified field of view.

I'm using a Truspot 6x with a #2 clarifier. No problem.
Perimeter is clear just like the center.

I don't use the truspot for indoor multiple spot faces like the Vegas or 5 spot NFAA. With the multiple spot faces you always see the edge of the other 2 spots (on Vegas) or the edge of the 4 spots (on the NFAA). It is annoying. Sort of like a kaleidescope effect.

For indoor I use the 4 power x-view by brite sight.
