I fletch them at about 2 1/2 " but shoot FMJ's start about there fletch a couple shoot and see how they fly adjust from there

It is not critical where you place them as long as they are towards the rear of the arrow. I use Bitz jigs, so I put them so that the rear of the vane is on the notch on the clamp, so I can get them placed consistently.

Be sure you use offset with Blazer vanes if you are going to shoot fixed broadheads.

Mine are 1 1/4" from the Nock Groove, that is where my Bohning Helix jig puts them.

As said use an off set or Helical on the Blazers.

about 75 yards should work, terrible reputation for staying stuck on a shaft, get the vantec 2"hp.. much better product
