Got a question regarding placing stands. My son and I just got permission to hunt a farm where a couple of other hunters also bowhunt but it is a big farm (160+ acres) with lots of woods. My question is around a hunter who has multiple stands up...is it OK to place one near one of his? I think one guy has maybe 6 or more stands up all over the place...I know he can't hunt them all.

What are your thoughts?

I think the only way to resolve the matter
is for you two to get together and talk about it.
It could be possible that he would be willing to share
stands that he has already placed.
I hope ya'll can come to a workable and
comfortable resolution.

agree 100%. he had permission before you. every hunter has more than one stand so he can change his approach daily according to wind direction and to keep from burning his area out. either find a place far away from him to respect his areas or talk to him to see if it's allright to share.

Talk it over with them, it is always better to talk it over with them. Surely you can come up with a good agreement.
