I am just trying to figure out how a "low" or "medium" style will effect my draw length.
Bow DL setting is measured from where the nock touches the string
to the deepest part of the curved section of the grip
right by the thumb knuckle.
So,
the angle of the grip
does not change your bow DL setting.
The thickness of the grip
right at your thumb joint
will change the bow DL setting.
REALLY thick grip
reduces the amount of space/distance between the nock groove
and the curve on the grip right at the bottom of the thumb.
The grip angle CHANGES the BEST draw length setting for YOU
to get the best groups.
