For anyone with experience with these sights, and specifically the Ascent model. I am looking to upgrade the 4 inch dovetail that came with my sight to a 6". I have 3 options for this that I am unsure about exactly. There's the standard model, a model that specifies itself as being with an "Ascent mount", and finally a micro adjust jaw version. I do not need any fancy options, and am just looking for extended length on the bar that works.
So my question is can I just get the standard dovetail mount, or do I need to specifically get the "Ascent mount". I have no idea what this even is...if it is maybe specifying that it is what you need if you own the ascent model? or if there is something that is a bit of an upgrade on it that I don't need but would be nice to have.
Any clarification on this would be appreciated.
