if you are just day hunting, i think 4 is fine. i have a 5 arrow, works well for me. if i had several species or tags i could hunt at the same time, i would use a 7 arrow... backcountry hunting, i'll carry a tube with extras and use my 5 arrow

 

I use 5 arrow quivers but typically only carry 3 or 4 arrows.

 

Mine holds 5 that's plenty for a hunt

 

Depends where and what you are hunting. For Eastern white tails doing morning and afternoon tree stand sits then 3 or 4 arrows can work. All day hunts with a long hike, make sure you have enough arrows.

7 for me. So I can carry a couple for small game.

 

I have a 5. During deer season in my state fall turkey consides. I carry 3 deer and 2 turkey. Same arrow different head. Both hit same on target before someone says I’m slinging arrows haha. I also have a few spare broadheads in my bag for deer god forbid I need a 4th or 5th arrow. Never have so hopefully never will ha.

 

I carry 3 for the white tail woods. Maybe one day I'll regret that.

 

7 for me. Couple blunts for small game, and the rest in case I have an opportunity for more than one deer. Never had to use more than 5, but you never know... and they weigh close to nothing and my 7-arrow quiver weighs the same as my 5-arrow

 

I take six arrows for a hunt, I've never shot more than three. I'd like to say that equated to three kills...... But that would be a lie. 😞

 

Last year I had a doe duck my arrow stopped her and zipped one through 20 yards later. Another group came through about 10 mins later sliced the side open directly below me and then dropped it on a shoulder shot 40 yards out before it got out of sight....... thought I’d wait for a buck but I had no arrows.... 99% of the time in the whitetail woods 3 is more than enough but I’ll have a 6 arrow from now on for that 1%.

 

5, used to carry 3 until I killed 3 deer in 45 mins in one stand and still had does coming in and 2 tags left, but no arrows..lol

 

One of the luckiest evenings I ever had, a buck, a turkey and a coyote could have finished before dark with a raccoon.
would have left me with zero arrows had I took the ****...........

 

I emptied a 6 arrow quiver in one evening many years ago. Shot 3 does and 3 pigs. 5 arrows is the minimum I will carry. You never know what will happen when you are out hunting so better to be prepared.

 

Just 3 for me here. Only really hunt whitetails with my bow, and obviously if I see a coyote it automatically turns into a coyote hunt. Have never needed more than 2 in a night, largely by choice as I don’t want to clean more than that at a time anyway.

 

Who makes a 7 arrow quiver? I have a couple old 8s but they don't hold carbon. I use a 6 and a 5.

I carry 5 arrows for spot and stalk hunting. I have a buddy with an old PSE bow and quiver, and if I remember ,his quiver holds 9 arrows. Bow felt like it weighed 50 lbs with all those arrows in it.

 

I have 3,4 and 6 arrow quivers depending on what species I'm hunting. Also, if I am hunting pigs/exotics in Texas the ranch rule may be 3 arrows max, with initials on fletching.

 

I’d be lying if I said that I haven’t shot every arrow in my quiver at deer and needed more. I used to carry a 3-arrow Kwikee quiver because It was light and not bulky. Went to the woods one day and ran out of arrows and still had deer walking around me. Didn’t get a one. Now I use at least a 5-arrow.

 

At least 4, but I now have a six.

 

2 is too few, 6 is too many

 

I have a 4 but wouldn't mind a 5 or 6 because i would like a small game arrow, but don't carry one now.

 

Have a 5 arrow quiver, Trophy Ridge Vault 2 Piece. I carry 4 arrows for whitetails and add a 5th with a judo point while elk hunting

Whitetail and turkey, 4 arrows. Elk and Mule deer 5. Just in case of a longer shot and something happens.
