I have never shot them, never even touched them. From the pictures they look like a rocky mountain snyper minus the rubber band. They are made by the people who make the block which purchased Rocky Mountain Broadheads a while back. Thats all I can really say about them.

I could have said more I was just being a smart a^%. I love when people just say "they suck"....back it up with some facts or something at least. I have a pack of the 3 blade 100's and that’s what I'm gonna' hunt with this year. They look stout and are sharp and they fly well so I'm trying them out. I have heard they don't open and the blades are fragile.....But, we will see in a month. So, many people bash so many things here and I wouldn't doubt they have ever even tried what they are bashing. However, IF they don't work on game I'll be sure to post something when I have more facts.

just talked to some buddies that gave them a test

we are all rocky mountain snyper FANATICS but the only downside to the snypers is they do rust a bit easily and the rubberband does bother some people so we figured the rage would be the answer, turns out there not at all, dont open nearly as easily as the snypers and some opened during flight, if you can get your self the Snypers, there the best Mech on the market in my humble opinion any way

So your going to take an untested broadhead to the field and hope it works? I always test mine out first. I am here to tell ya, the three balde head has issues. It only opened once for me out of about a dozen shots. The blades jam on one another at imapct and essentially lock them down.

Here is a picture of the first shot I took with the 3 blade. THe blades wer elocked together so hard they didn't move when I pulled it out of the target. Look at the cut mark, it matches the blade configuration in the photo perfect.

Here is another entry pic shot. No way to prove it is a Rage in the block, but I swear it is.

Here is the only time it opened. I had to shoot it through a towel first to make it open correctly. The Rage is in the middle. That is a Razorshark 100 on the right and a Steelhead 4 on the left.

Here is the entry from the towel shot. You cna see the fuzzy on the target and in the cuts.

The two blade head is performing much better, and has stouter blades than the 3 blade.

These 2 blade pics came from Sthr's BT's broadhead review site.

At least you had some meat to your argument (no pun intended). Of course I wouldn't go into the woods without testing my heads. I shot them they opened in my bock 4x4 they flew great and were sharp. But I'm not going to put them thru a home grown broadhead test if that’s what you mean. 1st of all you are not shooting into a target that simulates deer hide and that’s what they were designed for. So, shooting in towels and foam really doesn’t make a good argument to me. And in the towels which are no way near as tough as hide they did open. 2nd I doubt the manufacturer (since they are reputable one and been around for a while) just threw em' out to the public with no testing so I'm not inclined to complete a full blown test. 3rd I have seen some test where they were shot through a shoulder bone and worked great. They were also shot through steel on another test and showed little damage. And lastly, I KNOW they hit where I aim and that’s the single most important thing about putting an animal down cleanly. True, this is not preferred but from what I have seen I don’t have any reason to think this BUT even IF (worst possible case and highly unlikely) they were to completely fail and stay closed the 5/8 three blade hole would still kill the deer. So, like I said before we will see this fall. I will make it a point now to post a picture of the first deer I get with em' and everyone (including me) will see the results good or bad.

I hope they work for ya. I agree, targets, towels, etc don't simulate a deer's hide. However, if I am going to trust a mech head, it better open 100% of the time, no matter what I hit. The Snypers and Tekans opened 100% of the time on the same target. I just can't have faith in a head that I can't see working, and having faith in my equipment is very important to me. After seeing how they performed for me, I lost faith in them. I was dying for them to be THE head, and felt let down. Mine literally opened once out of a dozen shots. I am not about to go shoot my hunting heads into a brick, steel drum, or wood block, but it should at least perform as advertised, and mine did not. On the video they are shown being shot into a foam of some sort. My blades were jammed together so hard after the first shot I had to work with them to get them apart. The whole point of using these heads is for an entry hole. Mine failed to demonstrate the ability to create that, and I want way more than 5/8ths" cut. That is the other reason for using a mech head, the big cutting diameter. If I was not searching for the huge cutting power, I would go with a fixed blade head and be guaranteed a full sized entry hole. PM the results cause I will be very interested in how they do. At this point I just can't trust em.
