hey guy's what works as a rail lube, silicon? or something like it. i'm looking for something i already have around the house, don't need to spend 10 bucks for a tiny little tube of something i already have...
Any wax or oil based lube on the barrel is going to cause problems sooner than later. It will collect dust , dirt, hair and other crap then transfer it into your trigger area. Best is to use a product like Jig A Loo or a dry film silicone/teflon spray.
A quick spray of the barrel , wait a minute and wipe it off. Makes the rail/barrel slick as a baby's butt.
