hey guy's what works as a rail lube, silicon? or something like it. i'm looking for something i already have around the house, don't need to spend 10 bucks for a tiny little tube of something i already have...

Jig A Loo Wal Mart around 4.00 the best!

Jig... works great, but my Wally stopped carrying it. Home Depot and car parts store do carry it here. Wally does carry CRS ( Silicone spray lube - car section) which works just as well and is <$2.00.

would i find that in hardware or automotive????and thanks for info.
My Wally still carries it it was in the hardware dept.Cossack2
was right on the price also.

Any wax or oil based lube on the barrel is going to cause problems sooner than later. It will collect dust , dirt, hair and other crap then transfer it into your trigger area. Best is to use a product like Jig A Loo or a dry film silicone/teflon spray.
A quick spray of the barrel , wait a minute and wipe it off. Makes the rail/barrel slick as a baby's butt.
