Does in freezer. Looking for my buck. Movement seems eminent today after cold and storms in Indiana. It's Sunny and 26.

Anybody rattle this time of year?

Can call?

Grunt?

Do these three calls work at all now/post rut?

Curious, thanks for advise.

I wont be making any noise.Just sitting still, hopeing to keep warm is all I can do. Hopefully after these past few days of nothing but snow, they should come out to feed

Get close to the bedding, between it and the food. Complete and utter suprise works best.
If a buck is in sight but you will not be able to get a shot if he continues on his way, call wont hurt.
Just my opinion.

Where I live, rattling is still working in spots. We're past the rut, but I rattled in a young buck last weekend. And grunted a nice buck into shooting range yesterday evening (he's actually a deer I rattled in to shooting range a couple weeks ago---he's a 3 yo). So, it's still working.
