The bolts for these bows are total weight with 100 grain tip at 400 grains, I received bolts from AJ custom arrows at 445 total weight love them.
The heavier bolts are better for the serving and string and bow correct??

I have a R29x and a R10x. I have some custom arrows with similar weight as yours. I had nothing but problems with the stock Ravin arrows. The custom arrows shoot much better and are much more consistent. As far as better for serving and bow I can't answer but certainly better for consistency in my bows.

Yes custom bolts shoot much better and hit target harder.

You are not going to beat AJ's arrows....they are the best. Serving wear will just happen no matter what arrow you shoot. I too own the 29X and the 10X and the 29X will wear faster most likely. But, I really do not care about that and will keep shooting these bows until they cannot shoot anymore. You have 2 good bows there.

Ravin bolts are made by Black Eagle. The factory nocks are okay but Firenocks are much better. I changed my Ravin arrows to 150 grain heads and Firenocks. I also changed my factory string to a Gas string fitted with a serving for the Firenock U style nocks. My arrows run about 470 grains. Very nice upgrade!
