Can anyone recommend any bowhunting books or magazines that are pretty good? I enjoy reading and would like to add some more books (other than woodworking and home repair) to the arsenal.
Trailing a Bear, it's the biography of Fred Bear and is an excellent book. It tells the story of some of his kills and is one of the best books i've ever read.
A few fav's:
"Bows on the Little Delta" by Glenn St. Charles
"Witchery of Archery" by Maurice Thompson
"Hunting the Hard Way" by Howard Hill
"Bowhunting for Deer" by Dutch Wambold
"Hunting with the Bow and Arrow" by Saxton Pope
"Coyote Soul, Raven Heart" by Reg Darling
"Fred Bear's Field Notes" by, of course, Fred Bear
