I shot my new Reezen through my personal chrono this weekend and here is what I found:

Shooting Chrony Master Chronograph

Reezen 7.0 28/70, set at exactly 65 lbs.
Downforce rest, string loop, peep in string, otherwise bare string
Sight, stabilizer and sling

27 3/4" Maxima Hunter with Blazers and 100gr point, 371 grains = 295-298 fps

26 3/4" CXL2 with 2" vanes and glue in point, 348 grains = 308-311 fps.

I am going by memory for the weight on the CXL2, they were left over from 3-D last year, I may be slightly off, but the speed is correct.

This information is as accurate and honest as I can make it, no BS.

Nice :thumb: If those arrow weights are correct, that 7.0 is smokin.

Take the estimates for what they're worth, but based on rules of thumb for estimating back to IBO, Arrow #1 indicates 337-340 IBO, Arrow #2 indicates 342-345 IBO. That would also suggest the bow is more efficient with a lighter arrow though, which is opposite the norm, though the difference between the two arrows is only 23 grains and both are relatively light. Anyway, thanks for the figures - just some things to think about. And have you modified the specs at all (cam rotation, brace height, etc.) or played with speed nocks/grubs and their locations?

Been playing with one at the shop this weekend. I have a slight should problem so I wanted to experiment with one. I put the Reezen 7.0 at 50 LBS. with 28" draw and shot 288 thru the chrono, that was a 292grain Gold Tip Pro 22 Series arrow. With a 362 grain arrow it shot 264 thru the chrono. Needless to say I'm pretty impressed. Still thinking I just might have to take that bow home with me. I really didn't like the bow when it first came out! Humble pie really does not taste all that bad!

My findings

Here are some testing I done today with my Reezen 7.0 28dl set at 65# the only thing on the string is a peep and a dloop and a QAD rest. all the arrows are 27 1/4 long.

1. Gt 3555 with 75 gr. tip = 317 gr. = 312 fps

2. Gt 3555 with 100 gr. tip = 343 gr. = 302 fps

3. Gt 5575 with 75 gr. tip = 346 gr. = 301 fps

4. Gt 5575 with 100 gr. tip = 372 gr. = 292 fps

5. Easton axis 400 with 75 gr. tip = 355 gr. = 297 fps

6. Easton Axis 400 with 100 gr. tip = 382 gr. = 284 fps

Its shoots IBO speeds with no problem. what do yall think.

mine set at 65lbs. with 28.5dl and 325 grain, i am getting 307fps. I guess the bow is more efficient with a shorter dl.

These bows dont handle heavy arrows well at all. Shot the AM35 in my sig side by side with a Reezen 7.0/71.5/29 inch with a 450 grain arrow. Reezen shot it at 289 and the AM35 shot it at 284. 5 fps difference and a half inch difference in draw length.
