I was just wondering if anyone uses the reflective wraps and what's a good place to get them, are there any difference from the ones on eBay and a good "brand" or difference in quality, thickness..etc, any experience would be greatly appreciated

I've been using them for several years now and they're absolutely awesome. I've lost 1 arrow while hunting since I started using them and that was because it buried under the snow. I get mine from Onestringer. They stick really well and I've had no problems with Blazers adhering to them. A couple added benefits are your quiver glows when any artificial light hits it so you won't kick over or step on your bow in the dark and you can stick your arrow straight up to mark the last spot of blood while trailing and see it from a long ways away with even a dim flashlight. I really can't recommend them enough.

Man i havent bought wraps in years heres what you do and it will save u tons of money especially if you do them for customers. One day i bought some wraps for my arrows and i saw a label on the back says 3m and I thought to myself what store or craft place i could find then it clicked the sign store. So if u go to your local sign shop where they sell banners and signs they have a variety of 3m colors. I use stop sign red it relects when hit by light and isnt heavy they also have white reflective and a lot more colors than the wraps they sell. Hell I got 2ft for 7 bucks some they give for free ask to see the scrap paper they used if its under 2 ft they throw away.

I stumbled on the idea of reflective wraps recently as well. Seems like a cool idea.. sure hate loosing arrows. I read some older treads here that gave tips.

A small strip between the nock and the fletching, if you like. Then a strip below the front side of the fletchings.
One poster also commented that the relfective tape is more or less the same stuff as is sold for bicycles.

I put just a small 1/8 inch wide strip of reflective tape around my arrows just in front of the nock. I use the DOT stuff and it really shows up in the woods at night when you hit it with the light. I use white reflective tape. Here is a picture. Just a small bit works great!

I've been using them for several years, they make finding an arrow after dark a breeze. I get mine off eBay for I think around 8 bucks a dozen plus extras (usually get around 15). I believe one stringer has the option to make any of there wraps reflective for a few bucks more a dozen.

I have noticed this: Reflectives work best with bright, white light (say, a Cree LED flood or spot torch); and Fluorescents (as well as "plain" white) work best with a "Black" or UV LED torch - each type glows amazingly well with the proper light shined upon them. White and solid-colour fluorescent nocks (and vanes) also glow almost as if lit from within using the UV LED. The "clear" or translucent-coloured nocks, not so much.

I bought an inexpensive UV LED torch from Mal-Wart, "Rayovac" brand, IIRC. Found it in the camping section with other LED torches - it is anodized a purple colour. It works quite well for arrow-finding in the dark. Thought it might also work well for Blood, disappointingly discovered this is not so. I am still looking for something that will make blood stand out in the dark better than a White Cree LED torch.
