I know regular arrow wraps don't bother flight, but how about reflective tape for that arrow with a mind of his own, or a good pass through? can i go to an auto store and stick some car tape on it or will it screw with the arrow balance / weight? Thanks in advance

That depends on the weight of the tape and how close your setup is to being over or under spined. They do make reflective wraps now and they are probably made to allow for good vane adhesion, whereas the auto parts store tape may not hold the vanes being glued to it.

Might not be a bad idea for someone like me (color bilnd). At least at night. I have a hard time finding my arrow after a pass through. The red blends in with the greens and browns. A small section on a wrap would be better that the whole thing being reflective.

I love my reflective wraps that Battledrum made for me. They are not as bright as regular white wraps, in fact they look more grey in color. I put black blazers on mine and I have never had issues finding them and the deer have never known what hit them.

Yep...the reflective wraps I got from Battledrum are just a dull blue during daylight, but hit them with a flashlight at night and they shine :shade: I did not notice any adverse reflection at all when hit by the sun. I also use a reflective wrap on the FOB making it easier to locate after it pops off.

I killed quite a few whitetails out of treestands with FMJ's that had six inch reflective wraps on them and never had a problem. I took the same setup out west to hunt mule deer in colorado and the my arrows caught a lot of sunlight when spotting and stalking and definitely were not the best choice.

They work well for after-the-shot arrow recovery.

They also work well on a dog collar if you live near roads and let your dog run free.

I use to buy the 3-M roll of reflective tape from Wal-Mart and cut to size and use it for warps . worked just fine . could do about 8 arrows out of a roll , and it only cost about $3.00
