I do not have really bad arthritis, but enough that my shoulders and hands get sore sometimes. My shoulders will just have to toughen up, but I thought some might have suggestions on a release to help the problem. I use a Winn C-10 release right now, but if you have anything better in mind, please let me know,

Make sure you shoot a low poundage bow, mild cams, 50 lbs is plenty and 80% let off. A wrist release will serve you well. Speaking from experience.

Wrist strap release

Befus, a wrist strap release that I really like is the Fletch Hunter model with the deluxe strap. You can pull all the weight with your wrist and the release is one of the smoothest and mechanical best designs I've seen. You can also pick up a good used one for around $40.00 here from time to time.

If you want to consider a bow that is the smoothest, easiest draw of anything on the planet, check out an Oneida, maybe an LFM or a Black Eagle.
