ok so completely new to bows this was my 1st year shooting a bow. Did get 2 does on Kodiak island this year with a barrowed bow took the plunge and bought my own bow a relmX because I liked the way it shot, the bow shop I bought it from did all of the setup on it but was wondering how well theses come tuned from the manufacturer. Seems liked any fine tuning I might want to do involves getting a bow press is this correct. It shot real nice getting a group of about 2" or less at 20 and 30 yards already had to replace the vanes on 2 arrows because I shot thur them ! and 1other ? dose the string need to be waxed and how often. I try to shot every day about 30 t0 40 arrows

Generally yes, you need a press. You may, however, be lucky enough to tune it pretty well with simply small rest movements. You'll need to do some bare shaft and fixed blade testing to see how much is needed to tune the bow. With the ODB I prefer to set center shot and yoke tune from there - which requires a press.
