I was just wondering is there a camera out there that will turn on with a remote? Typically I see cameras you have to push the on button to activate it to record. It would be nice to have a camera with a small remote in hand to remotely turn it on and record. There have been so many times where I am stuck where I can't turn on the camera because of possibly being busted by the deer. Any leads?

Yes there are wireless remotes and also remotes that attach to the handle of ur fluid head. They have a power button, record, and zoom I hope this answers ur question, just make sure ur camera has a lanc port to plug it into. Goodluck!!

Thanks! I will have to look. I have a canon Vixia HF10 so do you know of somewhere where I can get a remote power on?
