I wanted to report the sad news that Rick White suffered a heart attack today and died at 1:30 pm. Rick had been involved in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.

Rick will be sorely missed. I will pass along other details as I get them.

The archery and olympic community has lost one of its greatest ambassadors.

Rick was a former national and world champion. His daughter Stephanie was on the Olympic Archery Team in 2004.

The only Rick White I have been aware of was the one posted in the picture above that works with hunter specialties as a Pro Staff member.

Is there another Rick White that was an Olympic Shooter?

Either way, somebody dieing is sad regardless of who it is.

Rick White was 1 hell of a guy. I use to go to his shop when he was in yorktown he was a very knowledgeable man & he loved to help out a newcomer to the sport. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.
