i have a rip cord and what i did was put some moleskin on my arrow shelf and that got rid of any bit of noise that was there ... hope this helps

I put some foam weatherstripping on the shelf hoping that would cure it but it didn't. Not sure now whether it's the rest or just the bow.

It's the rest. My hunting partner and I have the identical bows, same poundage. My Trophy Taker is way quieter than his ripcord. I actually thought his string caught on his jacket sleeve. I would suggest some sorbathane like they use in Dr. Schools shoe inserts. Great for deading noise and vibration. Give it a try.

I use the soft side of a piece of adhesive velcro on the arrow shelf.

Dead quiet.

No problems here using a little moleskin on the riser.
