Hello.
I picked up some of these Rubber String Silencers by Carbon Express the other day and installed them as per directions. They didn't seem to come out right like I intended them too. Maybe I didn't get the right ones?? Aren't these supposed to look like little balls when you install them on your string??
Do you tie them to the bow string with serving or tie them to the string by themselves??

Use serving or old bowstring to get the ball look.

might nit look as good but they work just as well tied on.

The only tip I would add is that a wooden clothes pin works great to hold the whisker in place while you tie it in.

I tied mine on with an overhand knot. They don't look great but they work. A buddy of mine uses little zip ties. His are pretty little balls but I don't think they work any better than mine.

I put some on the other day and i use one of my wifes bobby pins to hold it in place workes good and doesn't get in the way
