i like his review as well mostly straight to the point without any extras. I agree with his points on the grip. i couldn't name it but he said what I was thinking and feeling. i like that he gives the dynamic measurements. i went back and shot it today. bows today are so tough

 

I've watched this review and a bunch of other ones on the RX9. One thing that I think is missed in a lot of reviews is how much valley a bow has. Every now and then someone will mention it, but for the most part reviewers talk about how firm the backwall feels and that's it. I wish more would mention specifically how the valley is. I'm looking at either the RX8 Ultra or the 9 Ultra, and honestly the valley is probably going to be my deciding factor as I hated how my Phase 4 had none.

 

Both Hoyts have a generous valley … I also disliked how jumpy Mathews can be, especially in 80% letoff

Finally finally finally someone who is measuring dynamic brace height, if could get someone to start measure the grip to string lever that will be even better!

 

I do like his reviews, good info that I want and doesn't blabber on forever. Plus he isn't a grown ass man with a spiked Mohawk that calls himself MF lol

went back to the shop to confirm this things from his video and he was pretty much spot on. He just his Lift X 33 review and similar numbers there in terms of dynamic brace height and ata

 

Is it just me or is the 9 way lighter than the 8? I was handling a 9U at my local shop and couldn't believe how light it felt. I know the Ata is 1" less but it actually felt like a proper carbon. Its been awhile but Hoyt may have best carbon out right now.

 

It's a little lighter for sure... shorter limbs, the stubby stab is lighter = 4.4 vs 4.3
