I just ordered the Saunders hyper Clyde cable slide and I didn't know it snapped together. How durable is it? How long have y'all had this slide? Skeptical because its not a solid piece. Anyone had problems? And does it wear cables at all?

Great slide, have had one on my answer for a couple years, never had a problem, and no wear on the cables

Had one on my Target bow for a year now. Very happy with it. It will help in making the draw a little smoother.

It won't make it any worse but I would get a new cable if you've got broken strands, on a side note I've had mine for six years and the only time it comes apart is if I take it apart.

I have one on all 3 of my bow's. It's not going to come unsnapped, it's a booger trying to get it apart to change string's.

Just the opposite...it will save on cable wear. Smooth draw, maybe a little more speed...best cheap upgrade you can make to a bow with a cable slide IMO.

Do not use them on a bent rod. Had one blow up and talked to Sanders and they said they were to be used on straight rods only.
Now....E35 rod I would classify as straight although it is offset and bent and can be rotated multiple directions for fletch clearance and tuning....? Anyone using one on E35, cables get eaten pretty badly from factory and AM slides...
