In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University .

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully.

He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot. The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same elephant.

i was hunting one day and i stand up for a seconds to see over the blind part of my stand and a big black blured thing shot up at me and was gone before my eyes. i jumped so high i almost fell out of the stand and it felt like i was going to have a heart attack. since than i would say half the time im walking in the woods i see some black blurred thing flash by me and feel like something is watching me. seen the black blurred thing about 10 times. its weird.

not really a scary story, but more of a sad story.

i was hunting the opening day a few years ago. it was a very foggy morning. i was hunting high off a road, about a 1/2 mile. around 8:00am i heard a weird noise from below me, then smelled something burning. at around the same time i smelled the burning, i heard sirens and about 20 mins. later i heard a chopper flying around the area i was in.

i found out later that day that there was a bad accident just below me on the road. turns out that a girl got killed and a person in the other vehicle is now paralized from the neck down.

i never felt so sad and mad at the same time. i was hunting in a new spot with my brother and wasn't sure where i really was. i'm not sure that even if i tried to get down there, i would've been much help.

never touched the weed. im trying to get a job at gander mountain or Dick spotying goods. it wouldnt be fun explaining to my parents about why i didnt pass a drug test. that would be the scariest thing i ever seen and ill probally get killed.

i know it sounds weird but not even joking on this. seen about 10 times and its just weird. i just feel really weird and just have that feeling that something is watching me than next thing you know there it is. i swear to god im not making this up.

maybe. my aunts fallowed by a gost. every house she has lived in had a gost in it and almost everyone that has stayed over her house has seen it or seen the weird stuff that happens there. lights turning on and off, i have seen things get thrown across the rooms and once and a while you see the gost. so idk maybe i got one.

dang i wish i saw that back when me aunt lived in her old house. at the new one there was only 2 things that happened but the old house was like 100.

my dads cousin has something with him. he has levitated, hears things when he sleeps, and just has random things happen to him all the time. he is a little messed up.

my uncle used to live with him and he couldnt take it. they had a nailed down window fly open and slam on them a few times and all sorts of weird stuff. maybe he should get a hold of these guys.
