here is my scent free regimen. wash washing machine empty in scent killer detergent to clean tub. then wash hunting clothes in scent killer and do same to dryer with scent killer dryer sheets empty first then clothes. keep all clothes in vinyl bags to keep scent away. wear scent free clothes to wherever you go then change into your hunting clothes only when you get to the field. most important for boots. never wear hunting boots any where but in the field where you hunt. on and off in the field and kept in vinyl bags. wash body with scent killer and use wash rag and towel washed in scent killer laundry. keep those towels with hunting clothes in vinyl bag. use scent killer powder in hot spots and scent killer deoderant. chew gum o flage scent killer gum when you get on stand as your breath is the most of your scent then your hair. spray all gear with scent killer spray. keep all gear in vinyl bags wrapped in trash bags so the lawnmower gas in your garage doesnt stink up your gear. i use bags inside of bags when i fly for the same reason inside the plane baggage area in case some thing spills or whatever. same goes for bow case. that is all i can think of. new change of clothes from under wear and socks out for morning and new change for evening. that is my scent free regimen and i am religious about it. i very rarely get winded no matter which way the wind is blowing. hope that helps. i am a little more hardcore than some.

i have never used scent blocker clothes becuase they cant help you if you get diesel or mayonaise or something on the drive to your hunt. i just change when i get there and use lots of clothes.

exactly what he said....

I do the same thing with the exception of the scent free gum, and that's only because I haven't seen it. I do use the scent blocker, abscent, etc. and have not been winded by a deer in several years (since I started using the products). I can honestly say that I have seen more deer and been closer to more deer (and larger deer) than in the years before I used it.

I don't put on the scent clothing (scent lok or washed clothes until I am out of the truck - only problem is I hate freezing my jewels off).

I think the sprays, deodorants, and detergents are probably as effective as the clothing, but, I am a nut and have to go out and buy new stuff all of the time.

Just make sure you keep them separate and bagged until you are headed directly into the woods.

Baking soda works good to put in the bag your clothes are stored in.
I also put it in my hair, armpits and other areas. Its cheap and it kills
scent right.

LOL!!! If you had ScentBlocker or Scent-Lok clothes I don't think you'd be gassin' up or eating lunch in them would you???

These clothes are simply part of a system and when used as such they can make you nearly scent free. All this being said, I don't believe you for one minute that you've never been winded by deer! If you haven't then they just haven't been close enough for you to see and/or hear, I promise you!

Scent loc use

I personally never coughed up the money for scent blocker clothing, and as far as scent away detergent a 99 cent box of baking soda works just as well wash the washing machine out with it once, wash ur clothes dry them with some bakin soda in the dryer then plop them into a tuper wear tub with baking soda sprinkled on them and some naitive foalidge, some grass and leaves and a lil dirt, wear base layers washed the same way to the hunt and don't put camo on till u are parked, as for personal scent free regime. i shower washing all parts even hair with baking soda and even brush my teeth with it and gargle afterwards, if u want u can even gargle it before u go into the woods. pat sum into ur pits in case u sweat a lil and sprinkle it into ur boots and ur good to go. you can also use a cover if u want to but with this i have never spooked one with its nose up in the air. it works and is cheap
