Nice buck. That 45° angle pick always makes them look a little bigger. Straight on is your best picture to judge. How old do you think he is? I see a belly, but it’s kind of hard to tell. If he’s 3-4 give him another year if there’s a good chance he’ll stick around. Do you have a history with him sticking around?
As someone who owns and hunts a large tract of low pressure, managed land i would let him walk. I dont know where you hunt but if it's a 50/50 chance he will survive i'd definitely give him at least a year. To me he looks young, 3, maybe 4. Ideally he would jump quite a bit with that frame and amount of tines. Most people would have a hard time passing him; the droptine makes it even tougher. Do what you feel is right for YOU but in my scenario he would get a pass and i'm thinking we have similar scenarios when it comes to hunting.
