i have a switchback 27 in draw 71lb and the serving is getting chewed up where the angle of the cam hits it what can i do? tired of spending $

I've heard of some guys using relly fine sand paper and polishing the string groove lightly. you will need a press to get the string off though. somrtimes you just bang the cam or idler and burrs will form and chew up your serving. Try that , should get rid of the problem.:wink:

instead of sandpaper I use a dremel tool with a polishing wheel, it will take any burs off and polish the cam at the same time plus you might be able to reach it with out removing the string. One more thing, the size of serving might be to large for your cam groove and might have to be served with the mini serving, then it will be small enough.
