Hey guys, I just traded for a New Breed Genetix. I am a 28"DL and it says 28.5 on the bow, yet I was told it will do down to 28" or up to 29". I imagine it is based on the draw stops. I just don't know where to set them exactly. Can anyone clarify how to do this on these bows. I am unfamilar with these.

Do a search in youtube. I think they have a video that explains how to set the bow up. There may be a link on NBA's website.

If I am not mistaken there is an extra peg on the cam and you move the string to that peg. I think it will either go down a half inch or up a half inch, but not both. You have to put it in a press to do this.

Bama is absolutely correct. If you have a BX-4 cam on your bow; it will be 28.5 or 28 depending on which peg the end loops of the string are on. If the string is hooked on the pegs that are closest to the axel; then it is set to 28.5, and if they're on the other peg it's 28. If you have BX-5 cams on your bow; then those are 29-28.5 inch cams, and you can't get down to 28".

Thanks guys...I have the BX-4 Cam and pressed it and put it on the peg fartherest away from axel.
