I have not seen anything about the string stopper setting.

My Katrera came with a very slight gap between the string and the bottom of the slot of the stopper, don't know if that is right.

Whats the sweet spot for the stopper on the Katera? I just picked one up and need to get it dialed in pretty quick. Right now the shop set it with quite a bit of tension against the string. Should there be a gap?

I called Hoyt and they said that if you back it off 1/8 inch from the string it seems to quiet it down alot. Just because I do not change anything at all on my bow during hunting season I have not done it. I will let you know how it worked for me come end of Jan

On my Katera XL i backed it off the string. And it is much quieter now.

I havent really played with mine, I just set it so it lightly touches the string.

The stopper on my vulcan is set to just touch the string without puttin any pressure on the string, and seems to be about the best place. If you make it push the string your accuracy will be comprimsed, or at least mine was.
