I have a bow I would like to put in the classifieds but I have never shipped anything like this.What is the best and safeest shipping method and what is the usual cost?

I've shipped quite a few bows. I usually use the original bow box or some other bow box with extra packing either way.

Depending on where, how, insurance, and delivery conformation, $20 to $35.

Pick your posion as far as which carrier to use. :wink:

OK, thanks I'll get it up in the classifieds.I dont have the original box but I have a buddy at a pro shop so I think I can get one from him.

yep. in original box usually about $22-$35 insured unless the address is "rural" than add approx. $15. You won't know until they punch in the address. The only time I got a suprise is when I shipped a bow in a plastic plano type bow case, the price almost doubled.:eek:
