I would think. What ever you think is a fair price for your packaging, plus what the carrier charges.

Im not sure about the cost but i work at ups and i know how things are handeled. I routinly see mathews bows shipped in only cardboard boxes just barly wider then the limbs! i honestly dont see how most bows packed like that arrive safely. is this is your personal bow being shipped for strings or something, i would highly reccomened putting it in a hard plastic bow case with a pad lock and ship it. youd probibly have to have the shipper examine the contints first cause the pad lock could look suspicous. but thats the only way id mail a bow.

Send By Post .....................

UPS and other couriers will charge your customer large ............

Expedited U.S. Post should be around $20.00 and the recipient will be more than happy to avoid extra charges ............

if you send it through the USPS make sure you fill out the tag as a gift and if you can make the dollar amount $000. I am not to sure if you can witha bow because of the insurance thing but if you can do it. The recipient will pay an extra $100 - 200 for the hole customs thing. Pintojk knows 1st hand. I sold him a few packs of wraps and put declared value of something like $45 and he was banged I think $20-30 extra through customs. So on a bow I can't imagine what it would be. Pintojk you should have your new stuff within the next day or so if you didn't receive it already.

As long as you put the value at $10 or less he told me there would be no charge to him.
The draw back to that is you have to trust the person your shipping to as you aren't going to be able to insure it . I guess I should say the person recieving the bow has to trust you as you already have his money.

Just a thought ..........

When shipping across border ....... ship it as a "gift" ........
I write Happy Birthday all over the box ......... and ship it with a $ 0.00 value ..........

This works both ways, U.S. or Canada .........

Sometimes you have to take a chance with the Post Office's handling but it can save the recipient hoards of cash .....

You can still get tracking #'s etc. but if it is damaged the buyer takes the risk ...........

I've bought and sold bows, arrows, car parts etc. across border and have yet to have any issues this way .....

If the buyer wants insurance etc. it's their choice ..........
but when I find a smokin' deal on something and I end up paying brokerage etc. it's not worth it in the long run .....
