I've seen it touched on here on AT, but I haven't seen a thread that directly addresses experiences shooting through the mesh. I have two DB Dark Horse blinds which I'm going to put into service shortly. I'd like to know about AT members' experiences shooting at animals through this mesh. Good experiences? Bad experiences? Even though I shoot fixed blade broadheads, it seems hard for me to believe this mesh wouldn't significantly deflect arrows even at distances shorter than 30 yards.

What about it out there? Anyone have an opinion..............

I never had much trouble shooting with expandables or fixed. Just need to follow through just like any other shot. Longer shots are affected a little.

Advice ...............

Practice before deployment in woods. Don't underestimate the difference between the arrow and the site. I have seen a few pictures around here of folks who actually have missed the mesh and put a nice hole through the fabric.

I did a test with my target to see how much it affected my shots.
I was shooting magnus stinger 4 blades.

If you are lined up dead on the the mesh, it didn't make a difference.
If you are hitting the mesh at an angle, it threw the shot off.

I practiced shots from 15 to 40 yards.
The shots that hit the mesh at an angle didn't make that much difference out to say 20 yards or so.

It made a big difference at 40 yards.
