yep. if you want to bust him, bust him. If you have a p&y min, you might better pass him just in case. he'll always be bigger next year; if he survives.
problem is with the guys that hunt around us, he may not make it. While I don't and won't shoot a small buck, I think this guy is a 3 1/2 yr old, and would be my biggest buck with a bow. If I get the opportunity, I'll take it.
All he has to do is make your book...Just wait until you get the chance to arrow him and then decide....
