Shooting form question?

622 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  ryalred
Any advise would be very helpful please. For the past week I have been shooting in my basement at 13 yards. All of a sudden when sitting my shoots are high and to the left by 3-4 inches. When I stand I am right on. I never had a problem all summer at 20 and 30 yards outside. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Opening day is Saturday please advise and thanks in advance

My guess is that it's your grip. I have problems with this occasionally. I'll get lax and start gripping the bow tightly. Be sure to relax your grip so that when you shoot there's a since that the bow is falling off your hand--use a bow strap if you're worried about dropping the bow. Also, make sure you have good follow through--making sure your not jerking the release. My nickel's worth.
