Was at schupbachs here in MI tonight and got a chance to shoot the monster and the alien....lets start with the monster was maxed out at 60 lbs and the draw was set at 29 in...all set up except for a stab...first feel it felt off balanced in the hand kind of like the reezen but not as bad imo...the draw was surprisingly really nice until the last 3 or 4 in...got a little tough but i think it could easily to get used to...held real nice and the shot felt really good...a little vibe but i was expecting alot more than what it had...prolly because of the mathews suppressor, which imo looks awful...alot cleaner looking products on the market...shot it through the chrono with a 385 gr arrow set at what was mentioned b4 and it hit 310 on the only arrow i shot...

thats sweet for a hunting arrow imo...they said they shot a 300 gr arrow through it earlier and hit like 340...not a fan of speeds bows at all but overall the monster is really a sweet bow!!!:thumbs_up
the alien was set up at like a 55ish lbs draw and at 29 in DL...this was bare other than the WB rest...this bow is SUPER light and the riser design really looks good...they hit a home run on looks...the draw was very smooth all the way back...held like a rock...the shot was fallowed by some vibration but what do you expect with a bare bow...would be alot better with a good stab and maybe some limbsavers or an equivalent product...i didnt get a chance to shoot this one through the chrono but i think i would of been pleasantly surprised even at 55 lbs...i think if i was to buy a bow today this one would be my first choice over the AlphaMax..and yes i did just say that...
overall my favs from 2009 are like this
1. Rytera Alien
2. To Close to Call: AlphaMax and Monster....two different animals but if i had to pick between these bows i think id need about 100+ arrows and a beer:darkbeer: or 2 :darkbeer::darkbeer:
Oh and btw...none of any mentioned are as quiet or dead in the hand as the guardian...LOL...i thought id throw that in there...flame me now
